The Oman Aluminium Rolling Company (OARC) is committed to ensuring zero harm to our employees, contractors, visitors, and the community in which we operate. This is integral to our business process and is laid down in our environmental, health, and safety policies, standards, and working procedures. OARC has identified excellence in environment, health, and safety in its operations as a key business imperative. The company is implementing and executing a range of EHS programs to establish a strong EHS culture among its employees and contractors.

On February 2019, OARC was officially certified to ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 by Bureau Veritas. OARC is proud to be the first company in the aluminium cluster and the third company in Oman, certified with ISO 45001:2018, the updated Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

On May 2023, OARC was announced as a new production and transformation member of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). This step comes to emphasize OARC’s strong commitment to responsible operations and to work together with the other members in this community to contribute to sustainability and transparency throughout the aluminium value chain.
